Patty is a digital storyteller. She has a Ph.D. in Mass Communication from University of Wisconsin-Madison and her experience as a journalist led to a career as a documentary producer of projects such as Sacred Stick and Way of the Warrior for PBS, and many pieces that have aired on ABC affiliates throughout Wisconsin. She is also an author and professor. Patty will mentor youth in producing a documentary "Food that Grows on Water" which will expose the adverse effects that the proposed taconite mine will have on Bad River on the Ojibwe Reservation in Wisconsin.
