Patty is a digital storyteller who's experience as a journalist led to a career as a documentary producer of projects such as Sacred Stick and Way of the Warrior for PBS, and many pieces that have aired on ABC affiliates throughout Wisconsin. She is also an author and professor. Patty's recent project in collaboration with First Peoples Fund was mentoring youth in producing a documentary "Protect Our Future" which exposed the adverse effects that the proposed taconite mine has on Bad River on the Ojibwe Reservation in Wisconsin.
