Amber serves as First Peoples Fund’s Program Manager of Fellowships. She previously served as the Artist Program Manager at Kala Art Institute, a non-profit printmaking center and community space in Berkeley, CA. Originally from Yankton, SD, Amber moved to Rapid City in 2018 to join First Peoples Fund as the Program Manager of Fellowships. 

Amber served in the U.S. Army for eight years and deployed to Iraq in 2006. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis in photography from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2011 and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Photography + Integrated Media from Ohio University in 2015.
