Chelsea is an enrolled member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe and was raised in Saint Francis, SD. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Human Services - Mental Health Counseling after years of night classes while working for the school district. Previously she worked as a para-professional and after school teacher for Todd County School Distrcit, Program Evaluator and Rehabilitation Counselor for Tiwahe Glu Kini Pi (Bringing The Family Back To Life) an Equine Therapy program, and most recently as a Social Worker for the State of South Dakota. 

Chelsea moved to Rapid City for the opportunity to work for FPF in September of 2018. She likes to spend her downtime with her dog exploring the Black Hills. She loves the outdoors and anything involving the earth, including hiking, camping, biking, rock climbing, gardening, reading and painting. She feels her purpose is to serve her community through upholding her traditional values and beliefs.
