Cranston Joel

Cranston Joel is an Oglala Lakota emo punk rocker, self-taught singer, songwriter, and guitarist from Wakpamni District in Slim Buttes, South Dakota. He has performed at community gatherings, DIY shows, and youth-centered events across the Rez and surrounding areas, building his presence through live performance and word of mouth. His
shows are raw and intimate, blending emo, punk rock, and indie influences. Known for emotionally honest vocals and stripped-down guitar, Cranston creates spaces where heartbreak and resilience are shared openly. Through performing, he aims to inspire Native youth to believe in their creative potential.
