Derek Santos

Derek Santos is a multidisciplinary artist who is currently living on the Pine Ridge Reservation. He is a member of the Oglala Lakota Nation. Derek has a background in graffiti and tattooing while also incorporating sculpture and more traditional mediums. He is currently working on sculptures and murals on and off of his reservation. He has a BFA in Studio Arts with emphasis on Sculpture and Art History. He plans on continuing his career in art education to help the youth on his reservation.
