BIOGRAPHY

Megan Brink is from the He Sapa (Black Hills) and resides on the ancestral lands of the Oceti Sakowin in Rapid City, SD, and is a member of the Oglala Lakota Nation.

Megan started her career in professional human resources in 2016, working in the powerline construction industry. During this time, she gained valuable experience in change management, policy and procedure creation, recruitment and retention, onboarding, conflict resolution, and strategic leadership. Megan has collaborated with employees at all levels to create a supportive work environment, help them grow in their careers, and ensure compliance.

Her personal mission statement is to inspire her co-workers, family, and friends by treating them with kindness, and respect, and supporting them to reach their full potential.

Megan completed her studies in 2016 at Black Hills State University in Spearfish, SD. She earned a Bachelor's Degree (BS) with double majors in Human Services and Sociology, as well as double minors in Spanish and American Indian Studies.

In addition, she achieved a Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) certificate from the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI).

In her free time, Megan enjoys spending time outdoors or at the lake, surrounded by family, and friends, and enjoying great conversations.
