About

Kianah LongChase, AKA ‘TwoLips’, is emerging as an artist with her finger on the pulse of global, pop, and counter-cultural spaces. Informed by her upbringing in Tesuque Village, New Mexico, LongChase’s interdisciplinary mediums include music, movement, circus, acting, and visual art. With punk roots and a dance background, LongChase is determined to transcend and outpace genre as she proudly occupies the intersection of punk, metal, rap, and afro-beat. As a multi-racial Black and Indigenous woman (Dena’ina, Lakota) it is impossible to separate her artistry from the context under which she exists. Her addicting voice, unparalleled lyricism, cult-like-rage, and magnetic stage presence have earned her showcases at SXSW, Leimert Park Juneteenth, Echo Park Rising, Indigenous Peoples’ Day Fest-Phoenix, and more. LongChase graduated from the University of New Mexico. She is a member of the Native Village of Eklutna in Alaska and splits her time between New Mexico and Los Angeles.
