Sarah H. Natani is known for her weaving and pottery. She has been producing Navajo pottery since she was eight years old and began her journey with twill weaves 69 years ago in her late teens. Sarah lives on her ancestral lands, Navajo Nation, Table Mesa, New Mexico. As an active member in her community both on and off the reservation, Sarah advises, attends, and participates in many cultural and ceremonial events. She teaches weaving to students of all backgrounds and, as an elder, expresses the importance for Navajo youth to learn their language.
