Adam Avery

Naawikwegiizhig, Anishinaabe/Ojibway, is a well-rounded Anishinaabek lifeways steward, and award-winning multi-medium artist due to his mastery of the Woodland stylings of the Great Lakes Anishinaabek through applique beadwork, the building of Wiigwaas Jiiman (birch bark canoes), quillwork, remarkable regalia, and the sustainable harvesting of natural materials gifted by Mother Earth (Aki). Mindful of my journey acknowledge the generosity of the many teachers, mentors, friends, and family throughout my life, and endeavor to share all that I know with others.
