About

Jeremy Red Eagle focuses his artwork in creating items that have cultural relevance to Dakota men and boys.  He uses materials that are responsibly harvested from the land.  The materials include various wood types, earth paints, natural dyes, seeds from different fruits, tan my hides from hunting, bones, claws, and teeth from animals.

Red Eagle works with young men and boys to help them use these items to reconnect with their identity and teach land stewardship through the harvesting practice.

Jeremy was named the David Moses Bridges Scholarship recipient in 2021.
