About

Raised on the Navajo Nation (Dinétah) and born into the Todich’ii’nii (Bitter Water) clan, I also carry the heritage of the Bilagaana (French and Irish). My family hails from Black Mountain and Big Mountain in Arizona. My Native identity is deeply nurtured through living among my people, learning from elders, and engaging with the younger generation. Navigating diverse worlds while remaining true to one's roots is essential, as is serving effectively across these worlds while maintaining a profound connection to our Indigenous identity.

As a proud Indigenous 2 Spirit woman and cultural leader, I co-founded IndigenousWays, dedicating my life to supporting Native American and Indigenous communities through various initiatives. My work spans music, cultural exchange, and enhancing accessibility for Indigenous Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals, ensuring full community engagement. I organize cultural events that foster dialogue, learning, and unity while advocating for education and social justice to create a more inclusive and equitable society.

As part of the internationally acclaimed musical duo Indigie Femme, I celebrate and share Indigenous cultures through writing and performances. Our work highlights the rich heritage and contemporary experiences of our people. These efforts honor my ancestors' legacy and aim to pave the way for future generations.
