Warr Mountain

An enrolled member of the Red Lake Nation and based in his Anishinaabe homelands in Northern Minnesota. His background includes politics with a special focus on tribal relations that was gained in Washington, D.C. from 2014-2020. Using skills from his jewelry brand, WxMOUNTAIN, he then pivoted towards fashion design and marketing. In 2021 he landed a fashion design internship at Faherty Brand in Women’s design and ending with a personal collab. The following year he had joined Urban Native Era’s team as a Community Manager on the Marketing team. Then going back to Faherty brand as a Social Impact Coordinator working on projects with Native Artists and the CIO. In 2023 he began working back in his home community as a Graphic Designer/Social Media Manager on the Communications/PR team for Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior. As of 2024 he plans on growing his jewelry business.
